Poster illustration for the 9th anniversary of Jóvenes Artesanos, this image also was adapted to papel picado a traditional paper craft where artisans cut out intricate shapes on decorative tissue paper by hand.

The second image is Sazón Mulato’s illustration, this was translated into a Mexican traditional market tote bag celebrating the 10th anniversary of Jóvenes Artesanos.

Located at the heart the of La Roma neighborhood in  Mexico City, Aida Mulato’s project Jóvenes Artesanos is dedicated to promoting and selling the work of traditional Mexican artisans, through several activities that include workshops, setting up Mexican parties with traditional foods, and painting murals around the neighborhood, among others.
